Auto, Fast and Deep
Choose speed or depth, or let Auto decide.
Every message runs in one of three modes. Auto balances quality, speed and cost for the task in front of it. Fast answers quickly for everyday questions. Deep takes longer and works through difficult problems more carefully. They are Bespoke modes, not a choice of one model, and what each one uses can improve over time.
How to use it
- Choose Auto, Fast or Deep in the message box before you send.
- If you are not sure, stay on Auto: it is the everyday choice.
What you control
- The mode applies to the message you send, and you can change it for the next one.
Where it stops
- Deep is slower, and how many Deep answers are included depends on your plan.
- No mode makes an answer certain. Check what matters before you rely on it.
